How to play Gin Rummy against Ai
Deal – You and the computer each receive 10 cards.
Draw – On your turn, take either:
the top card from the discard pile, or
the top card from the stock.
Make melds:
Set: 3 or 4 cards of the same rank (e.g. 7♠ 7♥ 7♦).
Run: 3+ consecutive cards of the same suit (e.g. 4♥ 5♥ 6♥).
Discard – End your turn by placing one card on the discard pile.
Knock or Gin:
Gin: all 10 cards are part of melds → you win the hand with a bonus.
Knock: your unmatched cards (“deadwood”) total 10 points or less, depending on the rules used.
The computer then reveals its cards and the score is calculated.
Usually, the first player to reach 100 points wins the game.
